Lindsay Rasmussen

Biography

Lindsay Rasmussen is the Career Counselor for Environment + Society at the University of
California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance
from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with an
emphasis in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands. Lindsay brings over a
decade of experience in education and counseling, with a strong focus on working with
socio-economically, culturally, ethnically, racially, and linguistically diverse student populations.

Deeply committed to supporting students' learning and social-emotional well-being, Lindsay
utilizes restorative approaches and practices. She is passionate about environmental justice
and strives to empower students to address the intersection of social equity and environmental
sustainability in their careers. In her role at UCSB, she is committed to guiding and mentoring
students as they navigate their career paths within the dynamic fields of Environment + Society,
ensuring they have the tools and support they need to succeed.
